PULAO RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup Basmati Rice
  • 1 sliced Onion
  • 3 slitted Green chillies
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped mixed Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Peas, Corn)
  • 1 1/2 cup Coconut milk
  • 2 Cardamom(Elaichi)
  • 2 Cloves (Lavang/Laung)
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • Pinch of Salt 
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • Pinch of cinnamon powder.
  • Powdered garlic
  • Powdered ginger 













PROCEDURES
  • Wash and soak rice for one hour.
  • Grind the ingredients with little water to a fine paste.
  •  Heat oil in the cooker.
  • Add cardamom, cloves and bay leaf
  • Also add the onions and fry till they turn transparent.
  • Add the grinded paste and saute well.
  • Add the vegetables and fry for sometime.
  • Drain water from the rice and add to the vegetables and mix 
  • Add coconut milk and let it cook
  • Add salt and when it comes to boil close the lid of the cooker and cook for few
    minutes in low flame.
  • Put cooker down and add ghee with proper mixing.
